The One-Line Truth
The whole disease in one chain
Everything on this page exists to explain this line.
Cancer treatment kills millions of cancer cells so fast that the kidneys cannot clear all the stuff they dump into the blood.
The Concert Crowd Fire Exit
Imagine a sold-out concert where 50,000 people are packed inside. When the fire alarm goes off, all 50,000 people rush for the exits at the same moment—not gradually over an hour, but all within minutes. Each person carries a backpack full of money (potassium), a heavy suitcase (phosphate), and a stack of concert tickets (DNA pieces). The exits (your kidneys) are designed to let people out safely, but they can only handle maybe 100 people per minute under normal conditions. When 50,000 try to leave at once, the exits jam up: money spills everywhere and causes chaos in the streets (hyperkalemia stops the heart), suitcases pile up and block the doorways so people can't get out (hyperphosphatemia and crystal formation), and tickets scatter across the floor, creating a fire hazard (uric acid crystallizing in the kidney tubules). The city's cleanup crew (your kidneys) gets completely overwhelmed and shuts down. Without emergency crews (dialysis) clearing the jam, people trapped inside suffocate and collapse.
