HPV as a burglar breaking the home's alarm system

Imagine a burglar (HPV) sneaks into your house (cervical cell) through an open window (sexual contact) and immediately cuts the two main alarm wires (p53 and RB tumor suppressors) by making E6 and E7 proteins that jam the wires. Normally, these wires trigger an alarm if anyone tries to move things around carelessly (cell division with DNA damage) or if a stranger (infected cell) appears in the house. With both wires cut, the burglar can rearrange furniture (mutate DNA) as much as he wants without triggering any alert. The security guards (immune cells) patrol the neighborhood, but the burglar stays hidden inside for years, so they never see him. Over time, the burglar trains the house itself to help him—the walls weaken (basement membrane breaks down), secret tunnels form (blood vessel invasion), and soon he's running a whole operation out of the basement (invasive cancer spreading to other homes via the street network, or metastasis).
